MS, two young Korean girls present bouquets of flowers to general officers on the review stand. VS, Gen Maxwell D Taylor; Lt Gen Blackshear M Bryan, CG, 1st Us Corps; Maj Gen Lionel C McGarr, CG, 7th Inf Div; Maj Gen Robert H Pepper, CG, 1st Marine Div and other staff officers with the Mayor of Pobwon-ni as they tour the Friendship School area, look into the classrooms and walk to a waiting helicopter. Gen Taylor boards the H-13 helicopter; helicopter takes off. Lt Gen Bryan stands and chats with an officer alongside waiting helicopter. LS, group of children and Korean civilians walk twd the ceremony area. VS, three helicopters land in special pads; Gen Taylor, Gen Bryan and Gen McGarr get out. They are greeted by Korean Mayor and proceed to the speakers stand. The group walks to the speakers stand, past the school children and saluting MPs. VS, group on stand at attention. The Mayor chats with Gen McGarr. CU, sign: "Armed Forces Assistance to Korea," and "Welcome to Friendship School." VS, Gen Taylor, Gen Bryan, Gen Pepper and Gen McGarr as they speak to the group. Gen Taylor hands Gen Pepper a large key. MLS, spectators, Staff officers seated in the front of the platform applaud. VS, band plays and everybody stands at attention and salutes. CU, American and South Korean flags flying from top of flagpole.

Maxwell Davenport Taylor (August 26, 1901 – April 19, 1987) was a senior United States Army officer and diplomat of the mid-20th century.[1] He served with distinction in World War II, most notably as commander of the 101st Airborne Division, nicknamed "The Screaming Eagles."
